Yes, we took the tram up San Jacinto Mountain, to see what we could see. They met at the gym on 9th Street, and have continued a cross-country friendship. The highlight of the day was a stop in Las Cruces at the Ranch and Farm Historical Museum http://djnmarti.com/blogs/tt2/drive-2010/day05-07_27/index.html Today we drove from El Paso to Fredericksburg TX. We arrived late in the day, but managed to speed through the Nimitz Museum, and then eat dinner at Der Lindebaum restaurant. This is definitely a place to re-schedule another visit!!
