The following chapters in Book 6 you can JUST READ (write up for Option C). The starred ones have research activities for HW Options:

Ch 1:  Picking your topic, goals, and trends
*Ch 2: (HW option A) Picking our blog platform and starting
Ch 3:  Writing like a blogger
Ch 4:  Tracking other blogs, organizing files, avoiding overload
*Ch 5: (HW Option B) Getting involved with other blogs, interactivity:  Check out blogging communities such as Xanga
Ch 6:  Promoting your posts, pinging
Ch 7:  Podcasting, including having it in your blog

OPTION A for Bk6/Ch 2:  Check out and compare 4 blogging platforms and tell which YOU would choose for your purposes (COIN 72 Marketing Project Report) and tell why.  500+ words, spell checked.

OPTION B on Bk 6, Ch 5:  Explore blogging communities and webrings.  For your writeup here, compare 3 different ones for either category, concentrating on the ones more likely to be used for e-business and your COIN 72 Web Mktg. Project (rather than for personal/entertainment use/chit chat).  Notice how many of them carry (annoying) ads, cluttering up the page (why?).  500+ words, spell checked.

OPTION C on Book 6 content:  Write up the content/examples in Book 6 Ch 2,3,4,6,7 of what you found interesting, informative, practical, and relevant to your work in the COIN 72 Web Marketing Project you are working on. You may want to concentrate on Podcasting. Provide specific examples.  500+ words, spell checked.
